On Sunday at 12:31 a.m. the National Weather Service released a wind advisory valid from 5 p.m. until Monday 9 a.m. for Southern Herkimer, Southern Fulton, Western Schenectady, Eastern Schenectady, Southern Saratoga, Western Albany, Eastern Albany, Western Rensselaer, Eastern Rensselaer, Western Gre ene, Eastern Greene, Western Columbia and Eastern Columbia as well as Montgomery and Schoharie counties.“West winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected,” says the weather service. “West to northwest winds will increase later this afternoon and continue overnight into early Monday morning before diminishing.” ...read more read less
