A man and a woman were stabbed at SEPTA’s 40th Street Station in University City on Saturday night, a press officer from SEPTA’s police force said. The incident occurred at around 7:30 p.m., when a woman stabbed a man as he entered the station, police said. The woman then stabbed another woman following a confrontation on the eastbound platform, police said. Both people stabbed were taken to the hospital, where the man is in critical condition and the woman is in stable condition, police said. The woman suspect was taken into custody, police said. The identities of the three involved have not been released, and the stabbing remain under investigation, police said.
