Stanley County hosted the McLaughlin Mustangs with the girls in hopes of finding their first win of the season while the boys hoped to keep their record unblemished. In the first game of the doubleheader, the Lady Buffaloes found themselves in a heated battle with the Mustangs who carried a two-game win streak into the Thursday night contest. Stanley County has consistently looked to start fast, and they did just that jumping out to an early 12-0 lead. Eddie Duffy, who was coming off a 25 point performance in their last game, got it going early in the first half hitting three threes.
