NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — The New Bedford Police Department said that a vehicle was seized in connection with the death of 33-year-old Nicolassa Ventura Colaj on Jan. 1. Colaj and her family were exiting a church around midnight when she was hit by an SUV while crossing the street.
