SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Deputies with the Sumter County Sheriff’s Department say they are searching for a 16-year-old last seen in 2025. Deputies say 16-year-old Essence Morice was last seen at her Somerset Drive home on December 23, 2025. She was last seen wearing a black shirt, black swe atpants, and a black coat along with a white bonnet on her head. Investigators say Morice has short hair with two braids. The teen is believed to be with her friends in Camden. Anyone with information on where the teen might be is asked to call 911, or call 803-436-2000.
