Former military housing in Kalaeloa has been rehabbed and converted into Hale o Kumumamo, with 18 studios to serve unhoused Hawaiians who have a place on the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands (DHHL) homestead lease waitlist. Residents are expected to move in by the end of January.
