On Friday at 12:29 a.m. an updated winter weather advisory was issued by the National Weather Service valid from 5 a.m. until Saturday 7 a.m. for Madison and Oneida counties."Total snow accumulations between 2 and 7 inches along and north of US Route 20, with the higher end totals expected near and north of Interstate 90," explains the weather service. "Lake effect snow bands will move back and forth across the area, with uncertainty in snowfall totals.
