On Friday at 12:29 a.m. the National Weather Service issued an updated lake effect snow warning valid from 7 a.m. until Saturday 7 a.m. for Onondaga County."Heavy lake effect snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 6 to 12 inches north of Interstate 90, with locally 12 to 18 inches from Clay north to Brewerton. Lower amounts expected south of interstate 90, with 2 to 5 inches total expected in the City of Syracuse," adds the weather service.
