The Colorado Springs Police Department has arrested two juveniles and one adult linked to a smash-and-grab that occurred in late November. On Nov. 23, two juveniles stole and subsequently crashed a vehicle into one of the businesses along the 3600 block of Galley Road, according to a police blott er entry. The two then stole nearly $10,000 in collectibles before leaving the scene in another vehicle driven by an adult accomplice. Total damages were estimated at $30,000. Also on Nov. 23, The Shoppe Sports Cards and Collectibles, located at 3615 Galley Road, announced on social media that they were the victims of a recent smash-and-grab and would have to close temporarily. On Dec. 23, CSPD investigators arrested one suspect for second-degree burglary stemming from the incident. On Thursday, after executing a search warrant in the 1400 block of Tamarisk Drive, detectives with CSPD’s burglary unit located the second juvenile and took them into custody. Around this same time, through the warrant, the detectives also located the adult suspect and attempted a traffic stop before they fled the scene. They were later located and taken into custody.
