There’s not much rock at the big theater on Newark Avenue. There’s no jazz scheduled at the Statuary, and no bachata concerts on the Factory Instagram page. The front window at Pet Shop, so often filled with announcements for upcoming gigs, is bereft of good news for live music listeners. The Un iversity theaters are quiet for the weeks before the winter semester starts, and the small galleries like SMUSH and IMUR are preparing for the months to come. Stelton Distro and Made of Leaves won’t be accommodating any acoustic acts, it’s way too cold for Groove on Grove, and there are no shows at Fox Crow because there isn’t any Fox Crow anymore.
