Safe holiday rides INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A local law firm says it will pay for you to not drink and drive on New Year’s Eve in Indianapolis. Eskew Law says is offering a Safe Holiday Rides program for New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. That means if you take an Uber, Lyft or Taxi the law firm will pay for your ride. You just have to turn in your receipt. “In 2020, there were 106 fatal drunk driving collisions in Indiana, claiming 124 lives. Our city and state are important to us, and at Eskew Law, we have a mission to make our roads safer. That’s why we’ve created the Safe Holiday Rides Indy program,” the law firm says on its website. The offer is valid for a one-way $25 dollar ride for the first 50 people who submit receipts. You must be over 21 years old to be eligible. The firm says the program is simple – you make the right call and get a ride instead of driving after you’ve been drinking. Then Eskew Law will reimburse the cost. All you have to do is submit a screenshot of your receipt, a photo of your driver’s license, and your PayPal email address at the website here.
