The Queens mom accused of murdering her 15-month-old son had previously gotten into fights with the boy’s dad that drew an NYPD response, the Daily News has learned. Cops responded to the father’s South Jamaica home on 157th St. near 109th Ave. in May after receiving a 911 call about an argument between Nicole Boodhai and the father of her son, a police source said. The mother lives separately in a home a few blocks away. The victim, little Charlie Ramraykha, was just 8 months old at the time, officials said. Cops had also been called to stop an argument between the couple in September 2024, right around the time Charlie was born, at the mom’s nearby home, the police source said. In each case, cops filled out a domestic incident report, but no one was criminally charged, cops said. She then tried to take her own life by slitting her wrists. She and her son were found in the bloody bathroom when police were called to the home at about 1:30 p.m., police said. Autopsy results on the baby are still pending, but Boodhai’s statements and forensic evidence were enough for cops to charge her with murder. Boodhai remained hospitalized Wednesday.
