(KRON) -- A stolen 10-week-old Yorkshire Terrier named "Tinkerbell" has been safely recovered and returned, according to Antioch Police Department. The puppy was gifted to a 3-year-old girl on Christmas and then snatched the next day by two suspects during a family shopping trip. Home burglary arre st leads to dozens of credit card theft victims APD said the case started at 3 pm. on Dec. 26 when the family was shopping at a Target store where they were suddenly approached by two people "who complimented them on the puppy." The duo then grabbed the puppy and fled the area in a vehicle. Antioch police said they located and pulled over the suspect's vehicle on Dec. 27 before having it towed as part of the investigation. (Photo courtesy of Antioch Police Department) The suspects, identified as Isiah Kingstringer and Zoie Ledesma, were arrested later that day on outstanding warrants tied to Tinkerbell's theft when they arrived at the APD lobby to retrieve their towed vehicle. Police said they were able to determine Tinkerbell's location after a follow-up interview with the suspects. Kingstringer and Ledesma were booked into Contra Costa County Jail where they face several charges, including grand theft of an animal, theft by false pretenses and conspiracy.
