A man is accused of indecently assaulting and grooming multiple underage boys while working as a manager at a Saladworks and Wendy’s in Bucks County. Richard “Ricky” Brooks, 33, of Freehold, New Jersey, is charged with corruption of minors, indecent assault and manufacture, delivery, or pos session with the intent to manufacture or deliver. Richard “Ricky” Brooks The investigation began on April 1, 2025, when police received a ChildLine report of a former manager at a Saladworks in Plumstead Township who was accused of grooming a boy who worked at the store. Investigators later identified Brooks as the former manager. Police later interviewed 10 underage victims and learned that they also received alcohol, medical marijuana cartridges, nicotine cigarettes, and prescribed Adderall medication from Brooks between 2020 and 2024, investigators said. Detectives also said Brooks engaged in similar activity when he was the manager of a Wendy’s in Doylestown as well as at his residence, the Fonthill Apartments, also in Doylestown. During the incident, Brooks – who was between the ages of 28 and 30 at the time—groped a teen boy without his consent, according to investigators. A warrant was issued for Brooks’ arrest on Dec. 11, 2025, and he was taken into custody. Brooks was arraigned on Dec. 24, 2025.
