An off-duty Philadelphia police officer and another driver were injured, officials said, in a crash that happened in West Philadelphia early Monday. According to police, just after midnight on Monday morning, a 43-year-old off-duty Philadelphia police officer was hurt when she was involved in a c rash that happened at the intersection of North 54th Street and West Girard Avenue in West Philadelphia. The officer, along with another driver involved in the crash, were both taken to nearby hospitals following the incident where they were both listed in stable condition, officials said. Police did not immediately provide further information on what might have caused this crash or more identifying information on the other driver involved.
