With win, 49ers’ path to Super Bowl LX goes through home at Levi’s Stadium

(KRON) -- The 49ers' thrilling win Sunday night against the Chicago Bears was fueled by Brock Purdy's five touchdowns (three passing, two rushing). San Francisco moves to an impressive 12-4 but, more importantly, has a chance at an unprecedented advantage ahead of Super Bowl LX at Levi's Stadium.

he chance to play four straight home games en route to a Super Bowl trophy will be on the line Saturday night (5 p.m. scheduled start time).
The 49ers take on the Seattle Seahawks with the NFC West title and the number-one seed on the line. It's a winner-take-all affair, as a victory will grant that team home-field advantage throughout the playoffs.

There is no sugarcoating the massive stakes in Saturday's game in Santa Clara.
For the 49ers, they are four consecutive home wins away from hoisting a Lombardi trophy on their home field. Super Bowl LX is set for Feb. 8 in the Bay Area. San Francisco looks to join the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2021) and Los Angeles Rams (2022) as the only teams to win a Super Bowl at their home stadium.
Purdy, CMC shine for second straight week
It was a shaky start for Purdy as he threw a pick-six on the very first play. Suddenly, the 49ers were down seven 15 seconds into the game.
The 49ers recovered, and the offense took over, finishing with 42 points on the night. That is San Francisco's second straight game with more than 40 points.
Christian McCaffrey ran for 140 yards and a score and added 41 more receiving. He is 110 yards receiving from making history.
The running back is closing in on a historic season of becoming the first player in NFL history with multiple seasons of recording 1,000 rushing and 1,000 receiving yards.
Purdy followed up his career-high five TD-pass performance last week against Indianapolis by throwing for three scores and running for two to become the sixth player since the AFL-NFL merger with back-to-back games with at least five touchdowns.
