A man and a woman were both shot following a fight between the two victims and another man in a Speedway parking lot in Kensington, said Philadelphia Police Lt. Marc Metellus. The altercation occurred at around 11:08 a.m. on Sunday in the parking lot of a Speedway at the 500 block of East Lehigh Avenue, Metellus said. During the altercation, a man brought out a gun and shot the other man in the head and the woman in the leg, Metellus said. The man is in critical condition and the woman is in stable condition, Metellus said. No arrests have been made and no weapons have been recovered, but some cars believed to be linked to the incident were left at the scene, Metellus said. The identities of the two people shot have not yet been released. Additional weekend shootings At least two other shootings occurred in Philadelphia over the weekend, police said. The first shooting occurred at around 11:18 p.m. on Saturday at the 3200 block of N. 6th Street in North Philadelphia, when a 38-year-old man was robbed and then shot in the ankle, police said. The man shot is in stable condition and police are still looking for the two people believed to be involved. The second shooting occurred in the city’s Hunting Park neighborhood on Sunday morning, police said. Initially, a man walked himself into the hospital with a gunshot wound at around 7:48 a.m., but later told police the incident occurred at the 4400 block of North American Street.
