Business owner says deadly San Jose shooting did not happen at her store

The owner of a business in a San Jose building where a deadly shooting broke out early Friday morning is reeling from the tragedy and trying to get the word out that it didn’t happen at her store.
Police say the shooting happened around 3:45 a.m. Friday morning. One person died and three others
were wounded.
Witnesses say they heard gunfire erupt and say they believe it came from an afterhours party in a building on South First Street. Lolita’s Furniture occupies the first floor of that building, but the store owner says there is another business upstairs, and while they share the same outside entrance, they are completely separate. She says those tenants were working to open a space for events.
“I want to clarify Lolita’s Furniture had nothing to do with this problem. I am still in shock. I’m really really scared and now I’m scared where I am,” Celina Martinez, the owner, said.
Police say when they arrived, they found three adult men each suffering from at least one gunshot wound and a woman later showed up at a local hospital with a gunshot wound. One man died and the other three victims are all expected to survive.
