GOVERNMENT OFFICES: Most federal, state, county and city offices will be closed Jan. 1 and 2 and will reopen Jan. 5. Most Redlands City Hall administrative offices have been closed since Dec. 22 and will reopen Jan. 2. All Chino city facilities are closed Dec. 31 and Jan. 1. Chino Hills City Hall an
d City Yard have been closed since Dec. 24 and will reopen Jan. 2.
MAIL DELIVERY: Mail will be delivered Dec. 31; there will be no delivery Jan. 1.
FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS: Most banks, savings and loans and credit unions will be open Dec. 31 but closing early. All financial institutions will be closed Jan. 1.
STORES: Most will be open Dec. 31 but closing early. Most stores will be closed Jan. 1.
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION:
Riverside Transit Agency, Dial-A-Ride will run on a regular schedule Dec. 31 with free rides after 2:30 p.m. Buses will not operate Jan. 1 and will resume a regular schedule Jan. 2. Administrative offices will be open Dec. 31 but closed Jan. 1 and 2. The Customer Information Center will be open 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Dec. 31, closed on Jan. 1 and open 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Jan. 2.
Omnitrans buses will run on a regular schedule Dec. 31. Buses will not operate Jan. 1, but resume a regular schedule Jan. 2. Administrative offices and Customer Service Center will be closed Jan. 1.
Foothill Transit will run on a regular schedule Dec. 31. All buses on Jan. 1 will run according to their weekend or Sunday Service schedules. Transit Stores vary by location Dec. 31 and are closed Jan. 1. Customer service at 800-RIDE-INFO will be open 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Dec. 31 and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Jan. 1.
Metrolink will operate on a regular schedule Dec. 31. Trains will operate Jan. 1 on their weekend schedule with service on the Antelope Valley, Orange County, 91/Perris Valley, San Bernardino, Inland Empire-Orange County and Ventura County lines. Arrow will also offer its weekend schedule. The Riverside Line trains will not operate Jan. 1.
