A man shot and killed a woman and then shot himself in front of their three children during a custody exchange in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, on Friday, police said. The shooting occurred shortly after noon near the corner of Locust Street and Copley Road. Police said a 34-year-old woman was meeti ng with a 45-year-old man to pick up their three children. The children went into the back of the car while their mom was in the driver’s seat, according to investigators. The father then went into the passenger side. Police said the man and woman then began to argue. The man then allegedly pulled out a gun and opened fire, shooting and killing the woman in front of their children. Police said the man then shot himself but survived the shooting. He was taken to the hospital. Police have not yet revealed his condition. Investigators said the three children were not hurt though they witnessed the entire incident. Police have not yet released the woman’s identity. They continue to investigate.
