On Friday at 2:25 p.m. the National Weather Service issued an updated winter storm warning in effect until Saturday at 4 a.m. for Wayne, Cayuga and Oswego counties.The weather service states to anticipate, "Heavy snow expected, with a chance of a brief period of sleet and freezing rain. Total snow a ccumulations 5 to 9 inches and ice accumulations around a few hundredths of an inch.
