On Thursday at 12:40 p.m. the National Weather Service released an updated winter storm warning valid from Friday 4 p.m. until Saturday 1 p.m. for Western Greene, Eastern Greene, Western Ulster, Eastern Ulster, Western Dutchess and Eastern Dutchess.“Total snow accumulations between 5 and 8 inches, ” can be expected according to the weather service. “Moderate to heavy snow will develop around or just after sunset Friday, and will remain heavy at times Friday night.
