INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A fatal accident on Indianapolis’ far east side has left at least one person dead, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department. Online police reports show officers were initially called for an investigation at the intersection of John Marshall Drive and North Mitthoefer Road around 2:45 a.m. Thursday. That’s near the Amber Woods Apartments on the far east side, just south of East 38th Street. Police did not say how many vehicles were involved or if anyone else was hurt.
