Fireworks, dancing, music, comedy, sound bowls round out New Year’s Eve events in Colorado Springs
Dec 25, 2025
Doesn’t it feel like just yesterday we watched the fireworks shoot off from Pikes Peak on the cusp of a fresh new year?
Get ready for another round and another year. If getting sparkly and going out is more your thing, there’s plenty of that to go around, too.
– Noon Year’s Eve Party:
This one’s for the early birds and kids. Partake in a four-course high tea beginning at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the popular Queen’s Parlour Tearoom, where each course is based on different New Year’s traditions. After tea, visitors will congregate in the solarium for a noon ball drop and complimentary champagne or sparkling cider toast, Miramont Castle, 9 Capitol Hill Ave., Manitou Springs, reservations required, $35-$55; 719-685-1011, miramontcastle.org/december.
– AdAmAn’s fireworks show: The hardy gang of human mountain goats will fire off two light-show extravaganzas at the top of Pikes Peak. Look to the skies at 9 p.m. and midnight on Wednesday.
– Royal Gorge Route Railroad’s New Year’s Eve train rides: Riding a choo choo will certainly make this year’s holiday stick out in your head when you look back 10 years from now. Several time slots are open for the New Year’s Eve Vista Dome or the New Year’s Eve Deluxe. Meals and drinks are available, 401 Water St., Cañon City, $94-$204; 719-276-4000, royalgorgeroute.com.
– Dancing into 2026: There’s dancing, and then there’s contra dancing. The American folk dance is similar to square dancing, except couples dance in a line, not a square. And you don’t need a partner to attend. A family contra dance kicks off the night from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Buffalo Lodge Bicycle Resort. Pop, folk and indie band Grapefruit Moon will perform from 8 to 11 p.m., and at 10 p.m., you can celebrate the new year on East Coast time with champagne. Food trucks will also be available, 2 El Paso Blvd., 719-634-2851, bicycleresort.com
– Closing Out 2025 Sound Bath: Release, Renew Manifest: Sometimes you just need to close out a year without the big party. Singing Bowls of the Rockies will immerse you in the sounds of singing bowls, chimes, gongs and other instruments while you relax on your back and consider your intention for the upcoming year, 6-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, 76 S. Sierra Madre St., Suite C, $39; 719-464-3444, singingbowlsoftherockies.com.

– New Year’s Eve Comedy Show: The Pikes Punks Comedy Show will provide two opportunities to have a giggle instead of a sulk by bringing seven Colorado comedians to The Public House at The Alexander, 6:30 and 9 p.m. Wednesday, 3104 N. Nevada Ave., $12.51 to $15; tinyurl.com/27dzh4vx.
– New Year’s Eve Bash: You can count on The Broadmoor to put its Forbes five-star spin on the evening with not one, but two big fêtes. The New Year’s Eve Bash offers dancing and a champagne toast at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday in the International Center, 21 Lake Ave., $80; tix.com/ticket-sales/broadmoor/5614/event/1424891.
The traditional, black-tie New Year’s Eve Gala goes bigger, with a five-course meal, music by The Broadmoor Pops Orchestra, champagne and balloon drop beginning at 8 p.m., The Broadmoor, 1 Lake Ave., $340; tix.com/ticket-sales/broadmoor/5614/event/1424892.

– New Year’s Eve Bash featuring Disco Revue: The seven-piece Denver band Disco Revue will serve up disco covers all night, with Colorado Springs musician Tim Glenn kicking things off. A champagne toast is included, and you can upgrade to include a buffet dinner, 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Phil Long Music Hall at Bourbon Brothers, 13701 Bass Pro Drive, $49.61-$194.72; 719-401-0600, phillongmusichall.com.
– New Year’s Eve at COATI Uprise: The downtown food hall promises a DJ, spritz bar, confetti and food and drink specials, 8 p.m. Wednesday, 514 S. Tejon St., $20-$35; coatiuprise.com.
– Boogie Nights Disco: Yes, DJ Skye, the 1970s disco music and the open dance floor are the main attractions, but there’s also plenty to do for those who prefer their wallflower status. Lulu’s Downtown will also offer a trinket machine, photo stations, temporary tattoo parlor, prepaid postcards, Anonymous Phone Booth, souvenirs and a champagne toast, 7 p.m. Wednesday, 32 S. Tejon St., $31; 719-425-6230, lulusmusic.co
– Collective Groove NYE Dance Party: Once again, the nine-piece band will fill the dome at Stargazers Theatre and Event Center with funk, soul, RB and party hits, 8 p.m. Wednesday, 10 S. Parkside Drive, $25; 719-476-2200, stargazerstheatre.com.
