Making gaming accessible for everyone INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) —Easterseals Crossroads is an inclusive gaming community designed for gamers of all abilities. Through gaming equipment, open play nights, and social events, ES Gaming Indy creates a welcoming space where everyone can connect, compete, and play together without limits. Brandon Scott, a representative from ES Gaming Indy says, “Gaming kind of breaks down barriers. It doesn’t matter if you have a disability or not; gaming levels that playing field.” During an interview with WISH, Scott explained how he’s been receiving services through ES Gaming Indy since he was born. “Now, I’m able to get to work with them and give back to the community that once helped me so much throughout my life.” The organization provides a range of services, including job placement assistance and ABA therapy, helping clients navigate various life stages. Scott mentioned that Easterseals Crossroads serves all of central Indiana and provides an assistive technology program that helps residents access necessary tools for independence and daily living. “We help people find the right kind of needs to be able to work or live everyday lives,” he explained. The organization also provides accessible gaming controllers for major gaming consoles, allowing users to customize them for individual needs. “You are able to set them up however you need them to be set up.
