A man from Mount Laurel, New Jersey, faces 25 years in prison after being convicted of sexually assaulting two young girls over a period of several years.
James Murray, 55, of Cypress Point Circle in Berlin, was found guilty on December 17 of two counts of Aggravated Sexual Assault (First Degree
), three counts of Sexual Assault (Second Degree), two counts of Endangering the Welfare of Child (Second Degree) and one count of Obscenity to Minors (Third Degree), According to the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office
Prosecutors said that following a six-day trial in Superior Court in Mount Holly, the jury deliberated for less than three hours before reaching their verdicts.
Murray faces a mandatory minimum of 25 years in prison, according to prosecutors.
Details regarding the assault are being withheld in an effort to protect the victims, prosecutors shared.
According to prosecutors, Murray will be sentenced in March 2026.
