More radioactive shrimp recalled Over 80,000 bags of frozen shrimp products have been recalled because of possible radioactive contamination. The Food and Drug Administration says the items were sold in multiple states, including Indiana. The shrimp was sold under the brand names of Waterfront Bistro and Market 32. Customers with these products should throw them away or return them to the store for a refund. Gas prices fall to lowest level since 2021 The average price of unleaded gasoline in the U.S. has fallen to its lowest level since 2021, according to AAA. The current average price in Indiana is $2.72, AAA says, while it was $3.06 last Christmas. US economy grew quickly in Q3 The U.S. economy grew at a much greater-than-expected pace in the third quarter, boosted by strong consumer spending. Increases in exports and government spending also boosted growth, while a smaller dip in private fixed investment helped as well, according to new numbers released Tuesday. Student loan borrowers could see wages garnished The Trump Administration will start garnishing the wages of student loan borrowers in default in early January. The U.S. Department of Education says more than 5 million student loan borrowers have fallen behind on their payments, and that total could swell to roughly 10 million borrowers soon.
