Dec 23, 2025 morning forecast with Tara Hastings INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Some cloud cover but mild conditions expected today. Even warmer as we go into the end of the week. Could see a few spotty showers for the holiday. TODAY: A little bit of patchy drizzle with some overcast conditions this morning. Clouds will decrease for the afternoon. High temperatures will be well above normal for this time of the year. Look for highs right around 58. The normal high is 39. TONIGHT: If you are heading to Gainbridge Fieldhouse to watch the Pacers game we will look for partly cloudy skies. Overnight temperatures will fall near 35. TOMORROW: We will start off with some sunshine early on Christmas Day. Clouds then increase later in the afternoon. We could see a few spotty showers especially later in the day. 7 DAY EXTENDED FORECAST: Temperatures will still be well above and normal for this time of year on Christmas Day. It does not look like we will see anywhere close to a record reading. A warm front will continue to move across the state and temperatures will be right around 57 degrees for a high. That high does look like it will be closer to midnight on Christmas Day. As for sky conditions we’ll see mostly cloudy skies and a few light showers early in the morning.  On Friday the warm front lifts northward and we’ll look for temperatures to soar to 65degrees. The record high on Friday is 67. We’ll look for some more cloud cover and some scattered showers could be possible as well.  Saturday temperatures will be right around 62 under partly cloudy skies. The weather pattern shifts for the end of the weekend and early next week. We’ll look for a chance of showers on Sunday with highs near 40. And the bottom drops out for Monday. Low temperatures will start off into the teens and highs will stay into the twenties for Monday afternoon.  ...read more read less
