About 5,200 PGE customers in San Francisco remained without power Monday morning following a series of outages across the city and a substation fire over the weekend. The power issues began at about 9:40 a.m. Saturday, followed by a fire that afternoon at the PGE Mission substation, affecting abo ut 130,000 customers at the peak of the outages. On Monday, PGE officials said the goal was to restore power to all customers by 2 p.m. Monday. “We continued to make progress on restoration this morning.
