Per a Spurs press release: The San Antonio Spurs today announced that they have signed guard Stanley Umude to a Two-Way contract. In a related move, San Antonio has waived Kyle Mangas. Umude has appeared in 11 games awith the Austin Spurs as part of the Tip-Off Tournament as well as during the regular season> He is averaging 20.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 35.8 minutes. The San Antonio native played high school ball at Earl Warren High School before attending University of South Dakota from 2017-2021 followed by a year at the University of Arkansas. Umude went undrafted in 2022 but eventually signed with the Motor City Cruise. He’s played in 47 NBA games with Detroit and Milwaukee while on Two-Way contracts, averaging 3.1 points and 1.4 rebounds in 8.4 minutes. He was also a member of the Bucks 2024 Emirates NBA Cup Championship team. Unude replaces Kyle Mangas who signed a Two-Way contract with San Antonio on Dec. 12, 2025. Welcome to the Thread.
