RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Richmond's Department of Social Services (DSS) recently announced an upcoming closure of its Marshall Plaza offices as it relocates. Officials said the DSS offices located at 900 E. Marshall St. will be closed to the public starting Friday, Dec. 19 as the agency relocates to 300 E. Franklin St., where in-person services will continue in January 2026. During this move, residents that need in-person assistance can go to the Southside Community Services Center located at 4100 Hull Street Road.
