One person died and two others were injured in a late-night crash in western Aurora, police said. Aurora officers responded to the crash near a gas station at S. Havana Street and E. Alameda Avenue just before 10:40 p.m. Wednesday, according to a news release from the police department. An Infiniti sedan headed north on Havana hit the driver’s side of a Ford Escape as it pulled out from a private drive onto Havana, police said. Paramedics took both drivers to the hospital, but a passenger in the Ford Escape died at the scene of the crash, according to the news release.
