Someone outside opened fire into a building, hitting a 16-year-old boy and killing him early Thursday in Chicago Lawn on the Southwest Side. It happened in the 6500 block of South Talman Avenue around 1:30 a.m. and the boy suffered multiple gunshot wounds, Chicago police said. The unidentified boy w as taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn where he was pronounced dead, police said.
