(KRON) -- Bay Area chain favorite Philz Coffee has opened a milestone location in the South Bay. The 80th Philz Coffee debuted on Tuesday in Morgan Hill, the chain announced in a press release. The Philz Coffee marks the first in Morgan Hill, which is located at 250 Cochrane Plaza #100. It is at a shopping center with nearby chains like Chipotle, McDonald's and In-N-Out. The cafe features an outdoor patio with seating for up to 20 people and overall seating for up to 65 guests. Locals in the area have already expressed excitement for the first Morgan Hill location. "Just saw the signage in Morgan Hill," one comment reads on Philz Coffee's Instagram post teasing the opening. "I almost drove off the road in excitement!" Last month, Philz opened its first drive-thru location in the Bay Area. Pleasanton was the first city to have such a location in all of Northern California. It is Philz's 79th cafe. Most of Philz Coffee’s locations are across California; there are six in Illinois. It has built a fanbase over the years, boasting more than 94,000 followers on Instagram. It has made the short list of must-try coffee shops when someone visits the San Francisco Bay Area.
