CAROLINE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- The sheriff's office is searching for a suspect after a larceny at a Caroline County ABC store in mid-November. According to the Caroline County Sheriff's Office, the alleged larceny occurred at the ABC store in Caroline's Ladysmith area the morning of Monday, Nov. 17 . Two suspects entered the store together, with one suspect appearing to distract the store associate, while the other person is believed to have concealed alcohol they took from a shelf. Both suspects left the store without purchasing anything. The sheriff's office describes the suspects as Black females. Authorities describe one suspect as standing between 5 feet and 9 inches tall and 5 feet and 11 inches tall, who may be between 20 and 30 years of age. She is described as having black hair and a medium build, as well as wearing gray sweatpants, a gray hoodie/shirt, a black "puffer style" winter jacket and carrying a large dark-colored purse. The sheriff's office describes the other suspect as standing between 5 feet and 5 feet and 5 inches tall, who also may be between 20 and 30 years of age. Deputies believe she has short/braided hair, a heavier built and was last seen wearing black Crocs, black leggings, a black t-shirt, a white zip-up jacket and carrying a small tan/brown pocketbook/purse.
