The National Weather Service released a wind advisory at 1:33 p.m. on Wednesday valid from Friday midnight until Saturday midnight for Northeast Suffolk and Southeast Suffolk.The weather service states to prepare for, "For late Thursday night into Friday morning, south winds at 25 to 35 mph with gus ts up to 50 mph. There may be a brief period Friday morning where heavy showers and thunderstorms bring isolated damaging wind gusts.
