Dec 17, 2025
(BCN) -- Wednesday in the Bay Area calls for most areas in the region to get chances of rain during the day, the National Weather Service said, while cloudy skies and fog will prevail at night.
Daytime highs will be mostly in the mid 60s on the coast, high 50s to mid 60s around the bay, and in the
low to high 60s inland. Overnight lows will be mostly in the high 40s to low 50s.
Forecasters said rain will return to the Bay Area early Wednesday morning, starting in the North Bay before spreading south. The band of rain is expected to begin to weaken by late morning and early afternoon as it reaches the South Bay and Santa Cruz County.
Overall, rainfall is expected to be light, with showers affecting the North Bay and parts of the wider Bay Area.
A second storm system is expected to arrive late Thursday, bringing beneficial rain that could last through Saturday.
