At least one San Diego police officer was involved in a shooting following a foot pursuit in Balboa Park on Tuesday. The shooting occurred around 4 p.m. on Balboa Drive near Quince Drive while officers were chasing after a suspect, Officer Colin Steinbroner said. The suspect was conscious and breath ing at the scene, Steinbroner said. He or she was then taken to a hospital with unknown injuries. No other information was immediately available.
