GLOCESTER, R.I. (WLNE) — About 26 people are displaced after a fire at the Glocester Moter Inn, according to the West Glocester Fire Department. Firefighters responded to the motel on Putnam Pike around 12:15 p.m. for reports of a fire. According to the department, multiple rooms at the motel wer e on fire. Firefighters were able to control the flames “in a few hours,” according to the department. One person was burned, but was not taken to the hospital.
