(Courtesy of LNE/Lincoln Public Schools)LINCOLN–(KFOR Dec. 16)–A teacher at Lincoln Northeast High School has been arrested over allegations of sexual abuse by a school worker, following a recent investigation into reports of inappropriate touching involving severa l students. According to Lincoln Police, 62-year-old Daniel Holmberg was arrested at his Lincoln home around 1pm Tuesday and put in the Lancaster County Jail on four felony counts of sexual abuse by a school worker. LPD says officers were called to Northeast on Dec. 2 just before 3pm on a report of sexual abuse by a school employee.  Multiple students reported inappropriate touching by Holmberg, who worked as an English learner teacher.  Lincoln Public Schools placed him on leave, once police got involved. In the past two weeks, LPD’s Special Victims Unit forensically interviewed multiple female teenage victims, all of whom speak different primary languages other than English.  Probable cause was developed through the investigative process to arrest Holmberg.
