It turns out the injury to Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson is not as bad as initially feared. Watson was injured in the third quarter of Sunday’s 34-26 loss to Denver when he laid out for a pass and Broncos cornerback Patrick Surtain landed on him while picking the ball off. He i mmediately grabbed his shoulder but the team later said it was a chest injury. It was serious enough that he ended up going to the hospital, but all the tests on his lungs came back clean and he was allowed to fly home with the team.
