Packers lose Micah Parsons and Christian Watson to injury
Dec 14, 2025
The Green Bay Packers season looks to have taken a disastrous turn Sunday in Denver with what appear to be two major injuries that could dim the team’s hopes for a fifth Lombardi Trophy.
Leading the Broncos 23-21 in the third quarter, All-Pro Micah Parsons was rushing quarterback Bo Nix when he w
ent down with a non-contact injury to his left leg. Parsons was eventually helped off the field and did not return. The Packers called it a knee injury and quickly ruled him out. ProFootballTalk.com reported the team believes Parsons tore his ACL. That would end his season and put his availability to begin next season in jeopardy.

The injury came in the same quarter that wide receiver Christian Watson went down after a defender fell on him while picking off a Jordan Love pass. Watson was later declared out with a chest injury and taken to the hospital.

The Packers also lost right tackle Zach Tom (knee), tight end Josh Whyle (concussion) and safety Evan Williams (knee) to injuries.
Green Bay was already without star tight end Tucker Kraft (knee), starting center Elgton Jenkins (leg) and starting defensive tackle Devonte Wyatt (ankle) for the season.
