A lake effect snow warning was issued by the National Weather Service on Friday at 1:30 a.m. valid from 7 a.m. until Sunday 4 p.m. for Oswego County.The weather service describes, "Heavy lake effect snow expected in two separate rounds. The first round will produce 6 to 10 inches of accumulation tod ay through this evening, with the greatest amounts across northern Oswego County. The second round will produce 8 to 14 inches late Saturday through Sunday in the most persistent bands.
