Lincoln Man Enters Not Guilty Plea in September Domestic Assault, Kidnapping Case

Christopher Collins (Courtesy of Lincoln Police)LINCOLN–(KFOR Dec. 11)–The 36-year-old Lincoln man suspected of abducting and assaulting his ex-girlfriend back in September has pled not guilty.
Christopher Collins waived his right to appear at his arraignment Wednesday in Lancaster County court.
He’s accused of kidnapping, terroristic threats, use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony, first-degree assault and violating a domestic abuse protection order.
On September 21, Lincoln Police were called to the 95th and Eagleton Lane area in northeast Lincoln about an assault that happened inside a home where Collins assaulted his 42-year-old ex-girlfriend, who had broken up with him in July. She was later found with serious injuries at a home in northwest Lincoln and Collins was taken to jail.
