Monroe County under a winter weather advisory until Friday morning – gusts to hit 35 mph

On Thursday at 1:30 a.m. a winter weather advisory was issued by the National Weather Service in effect until Friday at 7 a.m. for Monroe County.The weather service says to expect, "Snow accumulations 2 to 5 inches in the most persistent lake snows. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph will produce blowi ng and drifting snow." ...read more read less
