A man and woman were hospitalized after, police say, they were stabbed by a woman in an attack that happened early Monday in Philly’s Kingsessing neighborhood. According to police, 39-year-old Nyeemia Maxey was arrested after she was found in a home along the 100 block of South Ruby Street wher e a man and woman had been stabbed at about 12:06 a.m. on Monday. Officials said officers responding to a report of a stabbing found a man — who police did not immediately provide further identifying information on — who has been stabbed on the chest on the second floor of the property. They also found a 44-year-old woman, who police said suffered a cut on her hand, as well. Both victims were taken to the hospital where the woman was treated and the man was listed in critical condition, police said on Tuesday morning. Maxey was taken into police custody and, officials said, she has been charged with aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and related offenses.
