A 27-year-old man died after he was mowed down in the Bronx by an out-of-control BMW whose driver then crashed into a telephone pole and fled on foot, authorities said Sunday night.

m just after midnight Saturday, police said.
After striking Bryant, the BMW-driver crashed into a telephone pole, then jumped out of the totaled vehicle and fled on foot — leaving behind an injured 28-year-old passenger in the car, authorities said.
Bryant sustained severe trauma to his body, police said. EMS rushed him to Jacobi Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The BMW passenger, who was riding shotgun, sustained minor injuries and was not hospitalized.

The driver has not yet been identified, police said.
Bryant lived in Williamsbridge, an approximate 10-minute walk from where he was killed.
There were no immediate arrests as police continue to investigate.
