Colorado Springs police saw robberies, crash warnings and sexual misconduct last week, among other offenses, with law enforcement making 274 arrests in El Paso County.

pproved for release. Here is a recap of those entries:
On Nov. 30, the Colorado Springs Police Department issued a crash alert due to icy road conditions at 6:15 p.m., which was lifted Monday at 11:15 a.m. The alert informs drivers of protocols for minor crashes, such as online reporting, and warns them to drive with caution.
On Monday, 34-year-old Kendon Ray, a registered sex offender, allegedly self-reported to police that he attempted to “lure a young boy into a bathroom.” Police identified the victim, and Ray faces felony charges for enticement of a child.
On Tuesday, police arrested Rodney Harris, who allegedly assaulted someone while stealing from their business. Harris faces felony assault and robbery charges.
On Wednesday, police issued a crash alert due to icy road conditions that was in effect from 7 a.m. Wednesday to 3 p.m. Friday.
On Thursday, a man allegedly robbed a convenience store with a gun, demanding cash and merchandise. No arrests have been announced, and the victim, a cashier, was uninjured.
On Thursday, the Colorado Springs Fire Department responded to a multi-vehicle crash on southbound Interstate 25, near Martin Luther King Bypass. While assisting those involved in the crash in the two left lanes, a driver failed to stop, striking a civilian’s vehicle, a community service officer’s vehicle and a firefighter in full gear. Charges are pending.
On Friday, police were dispatched to a reported burglary at a residence in the 8000 block of Hardwood Circle. When they arrived, they found a suspect, Dung Phan, in the residence’s backyard, and police say Phan fled on foot immediately upon seeing law enforcement. Phan allegedly had items in his possession that were consistent with what was stolen from the residence.
