No, it’s not a new art installation. Con Edison says it is investigating after a yellow SUV taxi cab got caught dangling above a manhole in Times Square Thursday night. Video showed the cab stuck over a manhole with steam coming out, at West 42nd Street and Broadway around 7 p.m. A vent ap peared lodged under the front tires. The cab driver and a passenger weren’t hurt, officials said. It’s unclear at this point what caused the incident. The area was shut down Friday as crews worked on repairs.
