New vintage resell store, Rewind Vintage, opening soon in downtown Richmond

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Fans of vintage goods and obscure pop culture artifacts, rejoice! A new store will soon be opening in downtown Richmond.
Holly Clark said the new brick-and-mortar location for her resell and retro goods business, Rewind Vintage, will likely open in January at 108 N. 7th Stre
et.
From the very beginning, Clark said she knew she wanted her resell and retro goods business to have a storefront of its own.
"I'm no stranger to the resell and retro community," she said.
In addition to operating an active eBay account for 15 years, Clark gathered experience in the scene during her time running the Tech Exchange near VCU's campus.
After launching her business and selling various vintage goods at events and markets, Clark said she began casually looking for a brick-and-mortar location about 7 or 8 months before she came across an available space in downtown Richmond.
The store will offer all kinds of retro physical media and cult artifacts -- including movies, video games, collectibles and electronics.
"I firmly believe that preservation of physical media is important," Clark explained. "Our tagline will be, 'Retro goods, art, and more.'"
Art from various local artists -- including Clark herself -- will also be on display and available for purchase.
"I just love Richmond. I love the community. I love the art scene," she said.
Alongside the business's inventory, Clark said she wants the space to be a fun environment to hang out in, with arcade machines and the possibility for one day hosting events of its own.
"It's going to be a fun environment," Clark said. "[And] it's definitely going to be ever-evolving."
In addition to the storefront, Clark said she will continue bringing Rewind Vintage to various pop-up events and markets.
